VITCHNER, Matilda A., "Tillie," 94, of Tiltonsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013. United again with her loving husband, Bud!

She was born August 10, 1919, in Wheeling, W.Va. Tillie was the daughter of the late Rose and Joseph Krizoski of Wheeling, West Virginia.

Tillie was a former employee of Wheeling Stamping Co. She also worked at East Ohio Regional Hospital, a career for which she had a great passion. She loved her workplace and fellow workers. She had a remarkable talent for sewing, and had outfitted numerous wedding parties, local cheerleader squads, and the St. John's Pomerettes.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tiltonsville, Ohio; the Catholic Daughters, St. Francis Society, and St. Joseph's choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Vitchner; a brother, Steve Krizoski and a sister, Helen Krizoski.

She is survived by sons, Bill Vitchner of Martins Ferry (Janet); Steve Vitchner of Milford, Ohio (Heidi); daughter, Chris Jones (Ron) of Tiltonsville; grandchildren Shannon, Michelle, Nathan, Katie, and Brandy; and great-grandchildren, Shae Lynn, Jaxsen and Addy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home in Tiltonsville, Ohio. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tiltonsville, with Msgr. George Coyne as celebrant. Burial will be in Upland Cemetary, Yorkville, Ohio.
