AVELLA, Pa. (AP) - A southwestern Pennsylvania man has been jailed in the shotgun slaying of his older brother, who was visiting from West Virginia.
The Washington County coroner says 47-year-old Richard Bauduin died of a blast to the head at the home of his father, 75-year-old Richard Bauduin Sr. and the suspect, 46-year-old Robert Bauduin.
The men's' father told police he was cooking a meal in the kitchen about 7 p.m. when he heard his sons arguing before the gunshot.
Police say Richard Bauduin was visiting from Colliers, W.Va.
Family members say the brothers often argued and that Richard - the alleged victim - often mediated disputes between his father and the brother accused of shooting him.
Online court records don't list an attorney for Robert Bauduin, who faces a preliminary hearing Wednesday on a charge of criminal homicide.
