Four men were arrested early Sunday by Bellaire police after being dispatched to a fight at the Stone Bridge Bar at 3101 Belmont St.
Officers arrived shortly after 2 a.m. and saw occupants running from the bar to an apartment on the side of the building leading upstairs. Once inside the apartment, officers viewed what they believed to be adult entertainment with a sign over the door requiring a cover charge.
The suspects were arrested for outstanding warrants ranging from traffic violations to felony drug trafficking warrants. They included:
Officers spoke to the owner of the bar and charges may be pending against the owner and five females. The bar recently was closed for 10 days following a liquor control violation. Bellaire Chief Mike Kovalyk said that liquor control was advised of the incident.
Bellaire police were assisted by Bridgeport, Shadyside and the Martins Ferry police departments and the Belmont County Sheriff's Department.
