City Council will hear a third and final reading Tuesday of an overtime pay and compensation time leave policy for city exempt employees and will consider legislation later this month regarding a similar policy for future city managers.
Council had tabled the overtime and compensation time leave policy last week but agreed to pull the ordinance from the table after a finance committee meeting Tuesday night.
An overtime and compensation time leave policy for the city manager position was drafted by Law Director S. Gary Repella and will be reviewed by the city's independent auditors.
City Council is currently accepting applications for the city manager's job though Oct. 11.
In other business, council's finance committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss applying for a safety grant for the future widening of the Sunset Boulevard and Lovers Lane intersection.
Also, council will meet at 7 p.m. that same night with representatives of the Historic Fort Steuben to discuss renewal of a two-year agreement for in-kind services between the fort and the city.
