WHEELING - The City of Wheeling Water Department has issued a Boil Order in response to a valve replacement. The valve was damaged during the recent water break in South Wheeling and is being replaced. Water has been shut off to the following areas: Jacob Street from 31st Street to 36th Street; 33rd Street from Jacob to Chapline streets; 32nd Street from Jacob to Eoff streets; and from 3112 Eoff St. to 32nd Street.
Once service is restored to these areas residents are asked to boil water for at 2 minutes over the next 48 hours.
A second notification will be sent once the Boil Order has been lifted.
