Liberals' new slap at presidential candidate Mitt Romney is nothing short of incredible.
Romney, in both advertisements and appearances, has criticized President Barack Obama's war on coal. In doing so he has stated the U.S. has a 250-year supply of the fuel, and it would be foolish not to use it.
Not true, respond liberal friends of the president. Why, they insist, the nation has only about half the coal reserves Romney cites.
So, somehow, a 125-year supply of coal capable of producing low-cost electricity is a bad thing?
Truth be told, Romney probably is closer to correct. But the reaction to his support for coal illustrates how desperate Obama's supporters have become to defend his attempt to kill the industry.
