Class planned for children, parents

WHEELING - A Valentine-themed Kindermusik Playdate will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Children's Museum of the Ohio Valley in Wheeling.

Judy Bischof, a licensed Kindermusik educator, will offer the one-time-only class, titled "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," for children ages 6 months to 5 years and their parents. The 45-minute class incorporates music, story time and movement activities, similar to the ongoing sessions Bischof leads on Saturdays at the museum.

"Playdates give the busy mom (dad, grandparent or nanny) the Kindermusik experience when she simply can't schedule the next 10 weeks," Bischof said. "It's also a great way to try out a Kindermusik class with a low cost and little obligation."
