Several new swine, or H1N1, flu clinics are in the works, including one for children 6-35 months old today at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville.
The mall clinic is slated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Parents or guardians should use the main mall entrance beside Garfield's restaurant.
"No other vaccines will be available at this clinic, and we are limited to only 300 doses at the clinic. There will be no pre-registration, and it will be a first-come, first-served basis," a Belmont County Health Department news release states.
Meanwhile, students who attend eight different schools in Ohio County will be offered the swine flu vaccine during three separate clinics next week.

Kubotaman. At least be objective. The actual 'fault' is the chicken eggs that do not crank out two and a half doses per egg. Sadly, they were originally harvesting just half a shot per egg. Yes, the idiots that run the vaccine labs should have known they might have problems with this virus. And yes, this country long before Obama should have made it a National Policy to not have our near total dependance on foreign vaccine manufacturers. Right now, a new vaccine plant is being built using non-egg (new cell technology) to grow vaccines faster right here in America. In West Virginia? Haw! 'Open for business', but bad for business. The new plant will be in North Carolina, Fortune Magazine's top rated state for business. Sometimes though we just can't win even if vaccine is available. Six nurses at a nearby hospital resigned because, as health workers, they were ordered to take the vaccine. "Nobody puts anything in my body, but me'....said they. Goodbye said the hospital.

rover1958: I will never be on my knees thanking someone else for taking care of me because I will not allow that to happen. It's funny how you morons always pullout the Medicare and Social Security card to try to prove your point. By the time I reach retirement age, both of the already bankrupt programs will not be around. You always throw up people taking their Social Security checks? They paid for it, it's their money, why wouldn't they...they was FORCED to be in the program, just as they was FORCED to be in medicare. I guess the same question could be asked by you guys when it comes to tax cuts. If you don't like tax cuts, just pay more to the government, they actually allow that. They however do not allow you to not take your social security. My original point was the government took resposibility in delivery of vaccines instead of allowing the private sector to do what it does best....looks like that was a huge mistake since most people will not get the N1H1 vaccine until it

Clueless is Kubotaman. But he won't realize it until he's on Social Security and MediCare and thanking the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT on his knees that somebody out there is taking care of him.
