Fire Kills Two
Bethesda mobile home destroyedBy JOSELYN KING
BETHESDA - A blaze claimed the lives of two people early Sunday in Bethesda.
The Bethesda Fire Department was called to the scene on Ingold Road just off of Garrett Road at about 6:15 a.m. Sunday, according to Fire Chief Neil Hunt. Upon arrival, firefighters found the mobile home totally engulfed, he said.
He identified those killed in the blaze as Andrew Ingold, 22, and Lori Kyle, no age available. A dog in the trailer also died.
Hunt said Ingold's grandmother, who lived next door, discovered the flames and contacted the fire department.
"When she called, she said it was clear gone," Hunt said.
The Belmont County Coroner's Office was called to the scene, as was the Ohio Fire Marshal's Office. The fire is still under investigation by the state fire marshal and the Bethesda Fire Department, Hunt said, but he does not suspect arson.
The Belmont Fire Department also responded to the call.
