Patrick S. Smith

SMITH, Patrick Samuel, 18, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008.

His death was sudden, unexpected and heart breaking.

He was born March 15, 1990 to Pam Ney of Columbus, and Pat Smith of Benwood.

He attended West High School and loved sports and children.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, George Ney.

In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed by his sisters, Hali Ann and Abby Scandalito at home, Heidi and Heather Smith of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; step sisters, Tiffany Robbins and Tanya Bruce of South Wheeling; grandparents, Beverly Ney of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Hazel and Al Smith of Benwood; girlfriend, Kayla Rose New; aunts and uncles, Malinda and Thomas "Bill" McGilton of Martinsburg, Theresa Smith, Rob Nasworth, Paula Smith, Elizabeth Smith and Dennis Smith, all of Benwood, Tammy Bruce of Wheeling and Mary and Joe Ratliff of Harpers Ferry; and many cousins and friends.

Services will be held at St. John Catholic Church, Benwood on Saturday at 11 a.m.

After Mass family and friends are welcome to join us at Garabaldies across from the church.
