Johnni Jo Funkhouser and Ryan Michael Hubbard were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at First United Methodist Church, Bellaire, with the Rev. Richard Hendrix presiding over the ceremony. Parents of the bride are Phil and Rhonda Earnest of Bellaire and the late John Paul Funkhouser. Parents of the groom are Robert and Barbara Hubbard of Bellaire. Earlena Earnest was matron of honor. Ashley Wiggins was maid of honor. Bobby Hubbard served as best man. Other attendants were Shae Burkhart, Andrew Campbell, Danielle Burkhart, Kathleen Fernandez, Tausha Ronevich, Ashley Scarnechia, Jeff Rankin, Nick Sulek, Spencer Moore, Josh Fabry, Bruce Hines, Abbie Merryman, Rachael Merryman, Savannah Campbell, Brianna Campbell and Sydney Heil. A reception was held at the Marshall County fairgrounds, Moundsville. The bride is a 2002 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2007 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed by Wheeling Hospital as a registered nurse. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2003 graduate of Belmont Technical College with an associate degree in criminal justice. He is employed by American Energy Corp. in Beallsville. After a wedding trip to Antarctica, the couple will reside in Shadyside.
